Fundamentals of Photoshop Elements for Artists
This is a full-day hands-on workshop which we have designed specifically for artists to introduce them to a straightforward 4-step process for generating aesthetically pleasing and technically correct digital files of 2-D artwork using a standard consumer digital camera and Photoshop Elements 6. We begin with an overview on finding and adjusting the settings in a digital camera and a demonstration of an inexpensive in-home lighting system. Then we transfer to individual computer workstations where you will be given step-by-step instructions on how to use the basic tools of Photoshop Elements with particular attention to adjusting color and density, cropping and squaring, and minimizing glare. You will also learn how to modify and resize files for e-mail, web sites and digital submission to galleries and juried shows.

No prior Photoshop experience required. Class size limited to 8

Thanks so much for the fabulous
Photoshop workshop. You did an
incredible job. I have been putting
off learning Photoshop for so long
because I really felt it would be like
learning Chinese but you are truly a
gifted teacher because I understood
everything and am really excited
about all the possibilities that lie
ahead for my artwork.
